Spanish music and musicians feature in a series of lunchtime recitals to take place at the Foundling Museum. Now in its 7th year at the Foundling Museum, the New London Orchestra´s most promising Young Performers Concert Series´ showcases some of the UK´s most promising young Spanish classical recitalists. Recitals take place at 1 pm on the first Thursday of every month. Works by: Bach, Schubert, Cassado and Bottesini.

Mother’s home is the gathering place,  where the  family, amid lost dreams, is in danger of disintegrating..

Don Plutarco, his son Genaro and his grandson Lucio, Who are musicians and farmers and also support  the campesinos guerrilla movement’s armed efforts against the oppressive government. When the army seize a village, the revolts flee to the Sierra  hills, forced to leave behind their stock of ammunition.  He plays up  his appearance as a harmless  violin player, and makes it  back into the army- occupied village to  try  to recuperate the ammunition hidden  in his corn field….

David, is a 25 year old youngster who is forced by his father to  build  a house  in a small resort by the Sea. He takes the task seriously through a year full of difficulties dealing with the  builders, unfaithful girlfriends, confused hippies and other  difficult characters...
