El Colectivo Magazine is a new Spanish language online magazine about London. Apart from useful information for living in and visiting the city, the magazine aims to present the diversity of London, exploring its cultural variety and interviewing significant figures from the cultural world. To do this it uses the new tools of journalism on the Internet. To mark the official launch of El Colectivo Magazine, a panel of prestigious journalists from major news organisations will discuss the current situation of online journalism and how the public is responding to this media. Laura Rodríguez is a translator and a journalist. After several years working in London as a freelancer and at the online press centre of European research news, AlphaGalileo, she has founded El Colectivo Magazine, a Spanish language online magazine.
