José Luis López Linares introduces the UK premiere of his documentary ''A Glimpse of Other Lives''. A reconstruction of life in Spain through the films of an amateur film maker. The film recovers the cinematic work of the amateur Madronita Andreu, an intellectual of the Catalan bourgeoisieuna who was born at the end of the 19th century and was the daughter of the famous doctor Andreu (known for his cough syrup and tablets), who for over 50 years recorded his friends and family on film with his 16 mm camara.
